Cow Lane and Calder Street Area

The area around Cow Lane, Calder Street and lower St. James's Street (below Brown Street), bounded by Queen's Lancashire Way to the west and Brown Street and Part of Hammerton Street to the east. It includes the Empire Cinema building, the Cross Keys Inn and the confluence of the Rivers Calder and Brun.
