Manufacturing

Although some textile manufacturing is still carried out in Burnley it has been largely replaced by a wide range of goods produced by familiar names such as Prestige, Bellings, Michelin, Mullards and Hepworth, some of whom no longer operate in Burnley. Other manufacturers include metal workers, blacksmiths, furniture makers, paper works and beer and soft drink producers.
